when the tears fell on the strings

when the tears fell on the strings,

created a new song

tears of sadness and also of joy,

when the tears fell on the strings,

the guitar asked,

It will be eternal, your love song.

Said the wise man, love is long-suffering, it is benign, love never ceases to be.

With chords I will tell you, how much I love you.

Beloved wife, you are my inspiration. the love I feel for you is based on the eternal rock, on the admirable light,

each day will be a new song, for eternity.

When I grow old, and when we look at Christ in his glory, I want to be with you always, forever.
